Have you been itching to try your hand at pattern drafting? Are you looking for an outlet to get the amazing designs in your head onto paper and fabric? This class is an introduction to pattern-making, and it will be perfect for you. Students will learn what a sloper is and their significance in pattern-making. Students will create a personal flat pattern of a bodice sloper, including a sleeve, completed on tag board. Students will leave the class with basic pattern-making, fit, and pattern adjustment skills.

 In this class students will learn:

  • How to take body measurements.

  • A basic understanding of flat pattern-making.

  • A basic understanding of pattern fit and adjustments.

  • Knowledge of slopers and how to use one in pattern drafting.

Ticket price includes all the materials and supplies that will be used in class.
