Let the Post Quilt Market Roll Out Begin
Quilt Market is a trade show held twice a year-- the biggest being in Houston in October. It is enormous. I've never been, but I love it all the same. Quilt Market means the prints/patterns/textiles I've been seeing sneak peaks of all over the internet, will slowly start to arrive in stores. Gina works really hard at curating the best of these for the store, and I'm so excited to see what starts arriving.
Anna Maria's two new patterns (pictured) are here: The Proper Attire Skirt (both a flat front and pleated version) and the Gathering Flowers Quilt. These would look so smashing in the medium weight cotton/linen blend from Lucien. We also have a new tote pattern from Heather Bailey, new patterns from Favorite Things (including this adorable sleep sack), and Joel Dewberry's new book Sewn Spaces is on the shelf.
New fabric from RJR (pictured), Kaufman (organic prints, sheeting and canvas!!), and several more Alexander Henry lawn and quilt weight cottons have arrived. As usual, I will keep you updated.
*Don't Forget! Join us down at Modern Domestic Friday evening at 6:00 pm for a Handmade Holidays Open House. We will have drinks and snacks, special holiday discounts on product, and a rare opportunity for class discounts on the Handmade Holidays series of classes.
