Bunnies! And Other Easter-ish Ideas
If you've been in lately, you may have noticed Amy's cutie Wee Wonderfuls Bunny sample. It is perfectly sized for Easter basket giving. We cannot keep these bad boys in stock, so we loaded up on our last order and we now have all the Hand Sewing for Fun cards ready to go. I think Gina's favorite is the Butterfly, but I am partial to the Snail. Either way, they are all rad and not just because they all come with some sort of head accoutrement.
We have a couple of Big Footed Bunny Patterns in the store (as well as Spaceboy and Robot) if you're wanting something hugable. Hillary's patterns are well written and clever-- I sewed up Olive and Archie last year (it comes as a handy pdf) and I have a niece and nephew that can vouch for their cuteness and durability.
(Deers-- Lecien, Both Hedgehogs-- Micheal Miller, Squirrel Canvas-- Echino, Rabbits-- Japanese/Westrade)
Personally, I'm working on fabric bag/box/baskets for my boys to carry their lactose-intolerant friendly Easter candy and pulled these bolts for all their Springy inspiration. I love that Echino print-- the medallions alternate chickens, bunnies and squirrels. And while hedgehogs aren't a traditional harbinger of Spring, I think this fabric might be. I should probably get cracking.
