Stitch Summer 2011

The folks at Stitch (a division of Interweave) continue to put out a quality sewing magazine with projects accessible enough for beginners and interesting enough to inspire crafters at all skill levels. There are 40 projects accompanied by full sheet pattern pull outs.

I have my eye on this robe for summer (pattern by Carol Zentgraf) and a toiletry bag by Kevin Kosab. Kevin has a bunch of projects in this issue and he's put together some of my favourite projects from back issues as well. There's an adorable boys button up shirt that should be on my list, and a simple but beautiful quilt from Malka Dubrawsky that I need to research further.

There's a nice mix of quilt and apparel projects alongside home and personal accessories-- even projects for your pets. Don't worry if it still feels like winter outside: we carry back issues of Stitch that will cover all the season.
