Just in: Japanese trims, metalic chevron and sailors

by Gina

Last week I had the chance to pour over some gorgeous ribbons and trims from Japan.  The quality is outstanding, and many were available in subtle, muted tones often found in Japanese textiles.  A couple of highlights for me are the grosgrain with a bit of sparkle and the fine, soft knit fold over trim.

There are more, including elegant matte satin.

Alexander Henry designers delight us again with their illustrative sailor print and scruffy looking fish.  We welcome back a few of their lovely, light cotton lawn prints (center photo), and the large scale tropical looking floral got me thinking about some embroidery embellishment.  The metallic gold chevron is brought to us by the folks at Michael Miller.

The darling ZaZa Zoo by  Marisa and Creative Thursday for Andover.

“Sphere” by Zen Chic and “Bee My Honey,” both from Moda. Pretty cute bees…

In addition to all these fabulous prints, we continue to receive more of the Bontanics line by Carolyn Friedlander.  We are stocked with 10 subtle, smart prints, working so nicely together and on their own.
