Favorite Summer Dresses: Pattern Roundup
by all of us!
Sometimes I think of a past post fondly and feel like it should get another go around in the spotlight. And, well, with summer here and the warmer weather upon us, I thought it might just be a good time to revisit some of the fabulous summer dresses the gals around Bolt have made. A little inspiration for us!
I’ve included one picture from each post. You can click on the pattern name and go directly to the original posts to read and see more.
Melissa’s Colette Crepe is a year-round fav, but particularly suited to the warmer months.
April’s pretty, pretty Diana Kimono by Serendipity Studio is an easy choice, perfect for a garden party or evening out!
Heather’s elegant Nicola by Victory Patterns is just the thing for summer weddings. Make it up in a light and airy cotton lawn like hers, and be comfortable in the warmest of climates.
Hannah’s gorgeous Lonsdale halter style dress by Sewaholic Patterns is just right for showing off summer shoulders. The long length gives it a more formal look.
Amy’s sharp “Go To Dress” from the Sew What You Love book by Tanya Whelan, is one of those great pieces that looks so good, and is as comfortable as wearing your favorite t-shirt. I love that combination. A great way to use some of those soft knits you’ve been eyeing.
