Just In: mud cloth, knit trim, Carolyn Friedlander and William Morris

by Gina

Some interesting things came through the door this past week. And, some equally as welcomed basics too!

Let’s start with the basics. We’re restocked with that great hemp/ organic cotton heavy weight stripe in indigo, red and brown. You can see the indigo version used in this great looking tote by Hannah. (It’s the widest stripe.) We also just got in a super cozy collection of solid flannels:

Our inventory is typically quite colorful and contemporary. That doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate a more subdue palette of William Morris reproductions:

And, some of Carolyn Friedlander’s new great group, Doe (top two prints are not part of the group):

These sweetly colored prints from Moda say Spring, for sure. Including the raindrops that usually mean spring around here:

We are very happy to get back in these gorgeous, unique, traditional African mud cloths:A shipment of trims arrived yesterday, including knit foldover trim, some super festive, sparkly ribbon and sweet, little polka dot, ruffle elastic.

Are you ready for some spring sewing? Come and see us, we’ll be sure you are!
