I recently made up a pair of the Lakeside Pajamas by Grainline Studio and I just had to share how wonderful this pattern is! Perfect for sleeping through these warm summer nights, or to change into once you get home from work or outdoor activities to lounge around in. The pattern is quick and easy to sew up, instructions are wonderful and engaging, and the possibilities are endless with jazzing these up. This pattern is great for helping you get through your fabric stash too, as you don't need much yardage for the project. Unfortunately the fabric I used for my PJs is from my stash that we are now out of at Bolt, but some great fabric options for these PJs are silk, silk blends (which I have pictured below), cotton voile, rayon, or light weight linen (such as the Brussels Washer Linen). Although thepattern doesn't give instructions for using knits, if you are experienced enough I would also highly recommend a knit fabric as well. The key to this pattern's completion is bias tape. This is where I suggest experimenting! Mix and match prints, colors, maybe try out one with a picot edge! We also have some great lace trims that would work well in place of bias tape. Make these up and send us a picture! Or tag us on Instagram at #bolt10year to have your picture added to our window display!
happy sewing :)
