Just In: Anna Maria Horner does it again

by Gina

I’m a big, huge really, fan of Anna Maria Horner. I’ve enjoyed most pieces she’s created over the years and have a whole lot of her things adorning my house and hanging out in my stash. This new group from her latest line, “Pretty Potent,” is no exception. Her colors glow, her scale is bold, and the designs themselves vary widely within a line. All things I adore. Hope you do too!

Stay tuned for apparel goods from this collection coming soon.

New trim! Well, the cherry trim is brand spankin’ new, the other two just look so nice with it, I couldn’t resist putting them in the picture.

Other new things around the store:

  • Fabulous children’s and women’s clothing patterns from Green Bee (the great folks that brought us this bag)
  • A lovely selection of sashiko sampler patterns—13” squares with the stitch pattern printed on. A must have for those of us who like to keep busy while out and about in the summer months.
  • Karen Kay Buckley’s “Perfect Pins.” These really are perfect. They are super thin and sharp, so they ease on into your fabric, smooth like soft butter on warm French toast. I know, that’s totally over the top, but I really am quite smitten with these pins.
  • Recycled poly thread cabinet! We’re pretty darn excited to offer a wider range of poly colors, and now on small spools too, and recycled no less! Same great Gutermann quality.

Don’t forget to check out the sure-to-be-moving show “Listen to your Mother” at the Alberta Rose Theatre on Sunday!

See you soon.
