Just In: Liberty of London, chambray, sweater knits and more!

We just got back from a couple of days away for our annual staff retreat and on the drive home we went through some very big downpours. All of a sudden it felt like spring is right around the corner...and it is.

So many new things have started to pour in, the spring sewing season is starting to rev up! These gorgeous new stitched pieces from Kaufman in indigo colored cottons are sure to please.

A very wide variety of apparel goods arrived yesterday, including a textured, woven cotton blend, a summery stripey linen knit, a wild gray-scale knit and a subdued black cotton/ linen pinstripe.

And sweater knits, from a chunky sea green, to slinky black / whites and another fab pinstripe in the middle.

These colored chambrays from Art Gallery are the perfect shirting fabric for spring and the cooler nights of summer. The textured blue denim on the right may end up as some sweet wide legged jeans in my wardrobe.

These lovely floral bark cloth pieces are such a fun addition to the store. The nostalgic prints are by Cathi Bessell-Browne of Gertrude Made, vintage inspired dresses.

A fresh batch of Liberty of London Tana lawn is here! And, they feel like spring! Look at these beauties.

Lastly, a pair of sweet pin-tucked cottons from Moda. Perfect for a summer dress or curtains....
