Level 1: You can thread and operate a sewing machine


Sew your own durable tool roll in this hands-on workshop focused on practical gear making skills. By the end of class, you will have created a functional carrying case for tools, art supplies, knives, or your other everyday items.

Taught by Eliza Carter.

    • The ability to thread and operate a sewing machine

    • Measuring, laying out, and cutting a pattern from fabric

    • Sewing techniques for heavy duty fabrics

  • The amount of fabric you need will depend on the width of fabric. Refer to the pattern instructions for details.

    • Coordinating thread

This class is suitable for Beginners and above. Ages 18 and up.

Our classroom is on the second floor and is currently only accessible by stairs. We are working on a solution to make our space accessible to everyone.
