Basic hand stitching techniques are an integral part of fine sewing. Hand stitching gives you maximum accuracy and control for marking, basting, hemming and finishing. Grab a needle and thread and stitch along as Marla shows you how to do six basic hand stitches.
Mending is one of the best ways to make your wardrobe more sustainable and make your favorite clothes last longer. In this class, you’ll learn how to do a classic woven darn while mending one of your own garments. This class will be focused on darning flat garments, such as sweaters or pants, rather than socks.
