How to thread and use a sewing machine
Basic sewing vocabulary
Sewing a straight line and maintaining a seam allowance

Techniques for cutting knit fabrics
Sewing knits on a domestic sewing machine
Finishing knit edges with elastic or trim

The Arccos (low waisted) or Median (high waisted) sewing pattern.
½ to 1 yard Knit fabric with 50-75% stretch.
Arccos pattern only: 3 yards lingerie or fold over elastic, stretch lace, or stretch trim
Median pattern only: 1- 1½ waistband elastic, 2 yards legband elastic (fold over, picot, etc.)

The amount of fabric you need will depend on the size you choose and the width of fabric. Refer to the pattern instructions for details.
