Level 1: You can thread and operate a sewing machine.
Jogakbo is a style of Korean patchwork traditionally used to create domestic wrapping cloths (known as bojagi) from scraps of leftover fabrics. In this workshop, students will use techniques inspired by jogakbo to create a stunning patchwork curtain with a stained glass effect. Curtains will be machine sewn rather than hand sewn.
This is a perfect opportunity for using up large scraps of fabric!

An assortment of fabric remnants from stash (large pieces, not small scraps), or 4-5 coordinating fat quarters.
Choose fabrics like lightweight cotton, linen, or a blend. Aim to have at least one yard total. The more you bring the more options you’ll have!
Thread in a coordinating color
Ages 18 and up.
