You have basic garment sewing experience and are ready to challenge yourself

Use a basic skirt block to create your own pattern. In this companion to the create your own skirt block class, Briar Haining will lead you through the process of drafting an asymmetrical draped front skirt using your block or a basic pencil skirt pattern.

The class will cover the basics of designing with your block and give you a foundation that you can build on to create a variety of skirt styles.

You will have completed your pattern by the end of the first class and can hold off buying fabric until you are able to measure the amount you’ll need from the finished pattern if you prefer

    • ¼ - ½ yard 20” interfacing for waistband, zipper, seams easy knit or shape flex
