This class assumes you are comfortable with a sewing machine and understand how to use a commercial apparel pattern.
Have you been intimidated by the idea of making your own jeans, or wish you could make them in hard to find colors or patterns? In this wonderful companion to Annika’s Jeans Fitting class, she will share lots of tips and tricks to make a solid pair of classic 5-pocket jeans with ease and confidence at home.
This class is intended to get you comfortable with working with heavy fabrics and specialized techniques for jeans making. You can use any basic 5-pocket jeans pattern for this class, but save patterns that have unusual structural details for future projects.
