Level 2
Build confidence working with knits while sewing a simple, comfortable button front cardigan! The Marlo Sweater is oversized with dropped shoulders, a v-neck, and wide bands with space for large buttons.
It comes in two lengths. Students can choose their preferred view. Scarlett will not have time to teach patch pocket application so if you choose the longer version, you’ll need to navigate that portion of construction independently.

Fabric
The main sweater can be sewn up in stretch or nonstretch fabric. The bindings require at least 20% stretch. You can use the same fabric for both or use a contrasting fabric for the bindings. Suggested fabrics include medium weight fabrics such as sweater knit, french terry, sweatshirting, polar fleece, rib knit and boucle.
The yardage will depend on the view, size chosen, and width of fabric. Consult the pattern instructions. Feel free to ask us for help in the shop
