Just In: Silky Ikats, Aboriginal Prints, Metallics, and Apparel Fabrics Galore

We've got a quick Just In post for you this week because we're just so darn busy receiving beautiful fabrics. We'll be posting some more photos on Instagram (we're @boltfabricpdx ) if you're curious.

First up, some Aborignal prints. We love the bold, high contrast colors, the beautiful depictions of plant and insect life, and silky feel of these mid-weight cottons. They'd make up into a bold men's casual button-up - like the Negroni from Colette Patterns or the All State Shirt from Merchant & Mills.

Here's another shot of color, this time from India. These packs of pre-cut (roughly 18"x22") silk have been a big hit. Each pack in unique, and would make elegant pocket squares or be a stunning addition to a quilt.

Apparel fabrics galore! From left to right, we have cotton prints, knits, shirting fabrics, gorgeous black and white silk print, wool, linen, and cotton gauze - something for everyone and every season.

Brand-new metallic Essex! Unfortunately the metallic yarn was camera shy, but this fabric does in fact combine the earthy yarn-dyed colors of traditional Essex with a subtle touch of bling.

Finally some new ikats from Hoffman. They're lightweight and almost silky. They would make a beautiful summer tank or be great all mixed up in a pile of throw pillows.
