Level 1: You can thread and operate a sewing machine

Get a feel for managing thick layers and working with fabric in 3 dimensions, all while creating fun containers for your crafting tools and other goodies.

  • This class assumes you are comfortable with threading and operating a sewing machine

    • Adding a lining

    • Managing thick layers on the machine

    • Sewing 3 dimensional objects

  • Please bring:

    • At least 2 fat quarters

    Fusible fleece provided as part of the class fee.

This class is suitable for Level 1 and above. You must know how to use a sewing machine. Ages 18 and up.

Our classroom is on the second floor and is currently only accessible by stairs. We are working on a solution to make our space accessible to everyone.
