Level 1 : You can thread and operate a sewing machine.
This is a rare opportunity to be lead through a sewing project by the designers themselves! Join Portland design duo Alexa Johnson and Chen Liang of Wrongside Studios in making their newest sewing pattern, the Sou’wester Sun Hat.
“Inspired by classic sou’wester fisherman’s hats and our own ever-persistent need to protect against sun damage, this hat features one continuous brim that opens into a swallowtail split at the back, creating a silhouette that’s as functional as it is distinctive.”
The Sou’wester Sun Hat is unisex and comes in sizes from kids S to adult XXL. Each student will receive their own pattern included in the cost of the class— no need to download and print.
